Residential Subdivision Incentive Program

The City of Statesboro adopted an ordinance in December 2001 to encourage the development of subdivisions in the city limits. The incentive program is applicable to subdivisions zoned R-20 or R-15. With available funding, the city will assist new subdivisions in the

above-mentioned zoning districts in the following manner:

• City of Statesboro participates in the costs of engineering fees.

 

• City of Statesboro participates in the installation costs of Curb
and gutter and sidewalks.

• City of Statesboro participates in the installation costs of
water mains and sanitary sewer lines.
