Anyone seeking to initiate a residential or commercial development within the City Limits of Statesboro that involves clearing, grading, or the stripping of vegetation must first obtain a Land Disturbing Activity Permit (LDAP). LDAPs are required under the authority of the City's Soil Erosion and Sedimentation Control Ordinance. The grading permit (LDAP) can be issued upon approval of the site plans.
