Monthly Sanitation (Garbage Collection) Fees are listed as:
•  Residential $ 9.50
•  Commercial $ 10.75
•  Tippage Fee (Monthly) $ 3.25
•  Charged to each account even if you choose not to use our services
•  For customers inside the city limits
•  For all polycarts and residential shared dumpsters
•  Commercial dumpsters are charged depending on the size and number of pickups each week
•  Each account has been assigned with a numbered polycart
•  If you do not have a polycart and you think you should, please notify us

Lost or stolen Polycarts must be replaced by purchasing a new one from Public Works. A new Polycart is $65.00.

Garbage services provided by Public Works include:

• Collection and disposal of residential refuse from homeowners.
• Collection and disposal of commercial refuse from businesses.
• Pickup and disposal of yard waste (tree limbs and leaves).
• Removal of white goods on Fridays (metal items including washing machines, stoves, and refrigerators).

The Lakeview Road Transfer Station:

• Receives all solid waste.
• Loads garbage into transfer trailers and moves the garbage to Wayne County .
• Yard waste is disposed of on site and covered with soil monthly.
• Tires are collected and hauled to an approved site in Jackson , GA for recycling.
• Metal items (white goods) are collected, removed, and hauled away to a recycling site.
